places around Wayland

I took a special "Guest Appearance" trip into Boston to Covington Associates where I interviewed a Wayland Resident working there and brought the office some sweets as well.

Traditions, an elderly home in Wayland, was so fun to visit. They have options for assisted or independent living. The people there are so welcoming and the residents are so interesting to speak to. They also loved the desserts!

The Wayland Fire Department is so welcoming and such a cool place to visit. A fire fighter even went down the fireman's pole for us to see. It was an honor to be able to give them some desserts. Currently, the fire department responds to over 3,000 incidents per year.

Although I go to school everyday at Wayland High School, it was fun to talk to the current teachers and students. Wayland built a new high school whose doors opened in January 2013.

The Wayland Depot is a charitable organization established in 1980 and is a member of the Women’s Federation. The employees are always so kind and it's a warm environment.
